Last weekend Sian and Craig got married at Purley Church, and then went on to The Old Mill in Aldermaston for the reception.
Sian's flower theme was inspired by vintage and cottage garden flowers which produced the most romantic bouquet. Teamed with the vintage lace around the stems, the overall look was simply beautiful.
Sian had wanted peonies in her bouquet, but sadly these are unavailable at this time of the year, but I managed to source some beautiful old fashioned spray roses in quite a bright pink which looked amazing next the the dusky shade of the antique rose, and then I added the vibrant green of the Alchemilla Mollis to complete the vintage feel.
Sian looked amazing on her wedding day and I felt so proud to be a small part of it!

Huge congratulations to Max and Matthew Gaw who were married last saturday at Kingston Bagpuize House in Oxfordshire. I went to school with Max back when we were about  12 years old, so it was lovely when she asked me to do the flowers for her special day, and to join them at the ceremony to watch them tie the knot!

Max knew exactly what she wanted and it was lovely to work with a bride with such inspiring ideas.  Her colour scheme was romantic tones of soft apricot, pinks, ivory and silvery green foliage. Max's attention to detail was amazing, just as an example, Max, her sister and bridesmaid hand-made around 100 tissue paper pom-poms to decorate the marquee - and it looked just beautiful! I can't wait to see the official photographs, but for now you can see a few of the photos on my Facebook page.
