Last week I met some lovely ladies who had travelled quite a way to join our Spring bulb workshop. We had such fun on a warm and sunny Thursday morning in the garden, potting up vintage pots, urns and trugs with a variety of beautiful spring bulbs. 
The pekins pottered around our feet as we chatted, drank tea and enjoyed yummy home-made cake in the sun - Bliss! 

On Saturday I had a house full of children making a good mess with compost! They were making their Mummies a special treat for Mother's Day. 
We planted up pretty pots, buckets and Emma Bridgewater mugs with Muscari, Tulips, Narcissi, Crocus and Hyacinths, the children had a great time and their pots looked great once they had added the moss and a special homemade tag! 
All wound up with home-made cake (of course!) and gallons of squash!
